Chatham House Rule:

Doc will operate under Chatham House Rule. All participants are expected to adhere to the community standard. 

Chatham House Rule: When a meeting, or part thereof, is held under the Chatham House Rule, participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s), nor that of any other participant, may be revealed.

 

Cancellation Policy:

Tickets to the Event may be sold by DOC at varying prices and are subject to availability. All sales are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable after June 1, 2024.

Cancellation By You. After June 1, all sales are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable. If you are no longer able to attend the Event, you may hold your ticket for a future DOC event or you may request a special ticket transfer for another participant to attend in your stead. Prior to June 1, 2024, you may request a cancellation refund of the fee paid less $500. Write to info#doc.health with questions or to cancel your ticket. 

Cancellation By DOC. We may cancel the Event at any time for reasons including, for example, availability or suitability of venue or speakers or on security, health, or safety grounds, and we may deny, limit, or cancel your Event registration at any time. We are not responsible for any damages, direct or indirect, resulting from such cancellation. If we cancel the Event or your registration and you are in compliance with these Terms, we will issue you a refund of your Event registration fee.

If DOC 2024 is not held as scheduled, the registration fee may be applied to the rescheduled event or to a future meeting held within two years.


Data/Privacy Use

Generally. We handle your personal information in accordance with DOC’s Terms of Privacy: 

Personal data we collect

  • We will collect data directly from you if you register to attend the Event (through online forms, emails and your interaction with the relevant Event website and mobile app) or if you are already working with DOC as a customer or user. We may collect, store and use the following categories of personal data about you:
  • Registration information such as your full name, phone number, postal code, job level, job function, organization and email provided when signing up for an Event;
  • Profile data such as first name, last name, phone number and other information you choose to provide when setting up your profile in DOC's registration form or signing up for specific conference events;
  • Communications data such as records of your communications between you and Stripe about the Event, which might include, verbal conversations, emails, surveys and feedback forms;
  • Engagement data such as your registration for, and attendance of the Event, keynotes, breakout talks and training sessions,  your participation in session/event surveys, other ancillary events, and other interactions with DOC employees as part of the Event;
  • Videos and photos may be taken during the event for purposes of (i) being published and/or live streamed via DOC’s distribution channels for the Event.
  • Marketing data such as your preferences in receiving marketing communications from us and your engagement with email communications that we send to you or marketing presented to you; and
  • Device data such as your IP address; date and time of access of the Event’s website, mobile app or on-demand website; browser; screen resolution; and operating system.
